Two days in Dubrovnik: A little sunshine, a little thunderstorm

Before a thunderstorm, Dubrovnik 2019 @Anita Schneider

It was late afternoon; my family and I have just landed and checked into our Airbnb accommodation. The dark clouds were drifting in and engulfing the last remaining sunshine in this quaint little city on the Adriatic sea. We had to decide whether it would be enough time to run to the highly recommended "Orsan" restaurant, next to the Yacht Club, and not knowing how far the restaurant was, we made a run for it. Ten minutes later, halfway down the road, the rainstorm started and never ceased for the rest of the evening. We were completely wet and thankfully, the manager of the restaurant let us in and have the best meal we had in the city - grilled seafood platter accompanied by a glass of Pinot Grigio.

The Old Town, Dubrovnik 2019 @Anita Schneider (Samsung's mobile phone collection)

As you can see in the photo, my son took over my Canon DSLR camera and I was left with my old Samsung's photo to take some pictures. The results are not bad at all. It was a beautiful morning after last night shower that cleared up all clouds and dust in the city. The blue sky with the orange roof of the houses painted the prettiest scene of the Old Town of Dubrovnik.
