Driving through a dark tunnel makes me uneasy. The longer it is, the more I feel suffocated. 

It has been 6 months since the pandemic started. Lockdown, homeschooling, mask, hand-sanitizer have been a daily routine, a new normal. Travel restriction, people losing jobs, companies shutting down, are the grim reality we are facing now. How much we are all longing for all these problems to end. So we don't have to worry about tomorrow. We are hoping the next turn would be the last, and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

My son has been training to play golf for two years and eight months by now and last Monday, he was finally considered ready to play on a "real" course. We were taken to Els Club, which had been hosting some of prestigious international championships.  His coach, Sujjan Singh, an Indian professional golfer, once was ranked 300 in the world, took us on a buggy to explore the whole 18 holes and while driving, he kept on emphasizing how important, especially for kids, to be mentally ready and know how to respect the sports, while at the same time, enjoy the game itself.  The first time to be on the golf course myself, I could not help feeling excited and liberated especially after a few months of Covid related lockdown where the views I had were the walls of my house or my garden. Two days in Dubrovnik: A little sunshine, a little thunderstorm

Before a thunderstorm, Dubrovnik 2019 @Anita Schneider It was late afternoon; my family and I have just landed and checked into our Airbnb accommodation. The dark clouds were drifting in and engulfing the last remaining sunshine in this quaint little city on the Adriatic sea. We had to decide whether it would be enough time to run to the highly recommended "Orsan" restaurant, next to the Yacht Club, and not knowing how far the restaurant was, we made a run for it. Ten minutes later, halfway down the road, the rainstorm started and never ceased for the rest of the evening. We were completely wet and thankfully, the manager of the restaurant let us in and have the best meal we had in the city - grilled seafood platter accompanied by a glass of Pinot Grigio.  The Old Town, Dubrovnik 2019 @Anita Schneider (Samsung's mobile phone collection) As you can see in the photo, my son took over my Canon DSLR camera and I was left with my old Samsung's photo to take some pictures.
